Shipping Rates
Local delivery time is 1-5 business days , after shipping (depending on delivery location).
Shipping for orders under R1250 is charged at a flat rate of R80.
Orders over R1250 enjoy free shipping (Excl. Digital Items).
Digital products do not contribute to the free shipping amount.
Expected delivery time frames:
Cape Town and surrounds: ±1-2 business days
Main Centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban etc.): ±2-3 business days
Outlying Areas: ±3-5 business days
For customers who have selected express shipping, please note that these orders need to be placed before 11:00am on weekdays to ensure delivery within the 1-2 day timeframe. Express shipping is only available for main centres in South Africa. You will receive your order within 1-2 days after your items have been shipped.
International delivery time is around 7 business days.
International shipments are handled by DHL. They have an automatic system that quotes you on shipping according to your location. Simply enter your delivery address and you will see what the shipping will cost you.
Delays may occur as a result of customs clearance or availability on air freight planes.
You will receive an email as soon as your order has been shipped. The email will include a tracking number and a link to where you can track your order.
NOTE: The customer is responsible for any and all taxes and duties that the package attracts when entering the destination country. Burnt cannot be liable for any additional costs that the package might incur.
Exchanges & Returns
We offer one free exchange per local order, shipped within the parameters of South Africa. After that, local shipping is calculated at R80.00 one way. For international exchanges, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs and any relevant duties of an exchange.
To ensure that our customers to have a safe and consisted experience, Burnt will handle any returns and exchanges under the under the CPA or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 (“ECT Act”). We will happily accept returns or exchanges purchased through our direct sales channels, i.e. the official Burnt websites (burnt.co.za and burnt.co) as well as our Burnt retail stores within 30 days after purchase. We can not accept or allow any exchanges or returns purchased through a 3rd party.
Please note, we can not guarantee the exchange of limited edition items since certain sizes might be out of stock and not made anymore.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:
- faults resulting from normal wear and tear i.e. the loss, injury, or stress to which something is subjected by or in the course of use;
- damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
- damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
- damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product; and
- where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
At Burnt Studios we make use of DHL, The Courier Guy, DawnWing and CourierIt (the majority of the time, not exclusively) to ship all our packages. They are some of the most recognized and well now courier services in SA and they offer great service. Once your package has been delivered to them it is out of our control and they will be responsible for the delivery to you. Burnt Studios is not responsible if your order has not been delivered by the estimated delivery date once we have handed your parcel over to our courier service. If there is a delay in the delivery (due to strikes etc.) there will not be refunds, nor is Burnt Studios responsible for any lost or damaged parcels.
Please allow 3-5 Business days for your order to be delivered. Shipping may be delayed on big Sale events (Black Friday or Flash Sale).
Please make sure that the shipping address provided is correct. We will not be held responsible for parcels going missing because we have not received the correct address.
Please note: The courier company may contact you if you need to pay tax and duties to the tax authorities of the specific country upon import of the goods. We cannot be held reliable for any additional tax or duty fees.

Burnt Scratch Card Campaign: During this campaign, the buyer will receive a physical scratch card with every purchase made online and in-store. Each scratch card will contain a discount code which can be redeemed on the buyer's next purchase online or in-store.
- The “Scratch Card Campaign” runs from 22 July 2022, 14:00 - 31 August 2022, 24:00.
- A customer is only allowed one scratch card per order and only one scratch card per customer.
- Discount codes are only limited to one use per user.

Expiration Date: Free shipping codes issued through email campaigns have clearly stated expiration dates.

Validity Period: Customers must use the free shipping code before the expiration date. Any attempts to use the code after this date will not be honoured.

No Extensions: Extensions or reissues of expired free shipping codes will not be provided. It is the customer's responsibility to redeem the code within the given timeframe.

Terms and Conditions for BURNT RUN CLUB COMPETITIONS (GENERAL)
The “Campaign” refers to the Burnt Run Club Competitions.
Winners will be announced at the run, unless otherwise communicated. Winners will need to provide their contact details to the relevant run captain. If the prize is not handed out at the run, a unique code will be shared with the winner to redeem their prize.
All run competition vouchers will be valid 6 months from when they are announced at the run, after which they will expire.
They can be redeemed online or In-store. Each voucher is single use and can only be redeemed on ONE order. Vouchers are not transferable. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Terms and Conditions for BURNT TONE IN-STORE LAUNCH:
The “campaign” refers to the Burnt Tone In-store Launch promotion campaign.
The campaign will commence on Monday 8 April and run until 8 May.
For the first week of launch (8th April - 14th April) or until promotional stock lasts, all in-store purchasers who receive a coupon code in their shopping bag unlock a 20% discount on the Burnt Tone program.
The discount is only available through the QR code on the print out. Purchasers must scan the QR code to redeem the discount which will automatically be applied at checkout.

Burnt Run Half & Full Marathon Program Money Back Guarantee
T&C's APPLY: To qualify for a refund on your half and full marathon program
- You must go through the full program.
- You must have completed all the lessons, activities, watched all the video lessons in the program.

- The competition is open to athletes participating in the Hyrox CPT event.
- Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.

Black Friday Terms and Conditions

Discounts
All Black Friday discounts are valid only during the promotional period and are subject to availability. Discounts cannot be applied to previous purchases, and no price adjustments will be made after the sale has ended. -
Returns & Exchanges

Right to Modify or Cancel
Burnt reserves the right to modify, extend, or cancel the Black Friday sale at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders if we believe there is an issue with the transaction or if the sale terms are not adhered to. -
Pricing Errors
In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or technical issue, Burnt reserves the right to cancel or refuse the order. If the correct price of an item is higher than the displayed price, we will contact you for instructions before processing the order.

How to Participate:
- Scan the QR code to access your camera. Burnt staff will be available to assist if needed.

Photo Submission Guidelines:
- You may take up to 15 photos between 7:30 AM and midnight on 30 November.
- The photos will be published on Burnt’s Instagram Stories on 1 December.

Winner Announcement:
- The winner of our favorite picture will be announced on or before 2 December at 5:00 PM.
- To be eligible, the participant must have made a purchase at the Burnt store. This competition offers the chance to win back the full value of your order plus a R3,500 voucher.

Our Active Jewellery has a 3-month warranty on discolouration only. A jewellery piece that has lost significant gold colour in the 3 months since purchase will be replaced. If the item is no longer in stock, it can be replaced with another jewellery item of the same value.
The warranty is not applicable to damages including broken clasps, chains and day-to-day wear and tear.
Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged because of hygienic reasons.
