Sizing incorrect

I was extremely excited about my first Burnt purchase. The quality is amazing, but the size couldn't have been correct. I always wear a Medium sport bra and this one was extremely tight and uncomfortable. I gave it to my niece who loves Burnt and she said it is the same size as her XS and S. Surely this can't be correct, we even took photos to compare. Yes, I would love to purchase from Burnt again, but after this I highly doubt it.
